se fera? I guess fera is from faire verb but what is se? Oh men, I really have to study some grammar... From the sentence 'Le festival se fera jeudi', why do you put se? Is fera the future form of faire?

Yup, it's indeed the future form of "faire" in the 3rd person singular form. And in this case it is a reflexive verb: se faire = to take place
