What does "it may be held concurrently" mean? (in an academic context; about a grant or scholarship) Thanks!

You hold a scholarship. "Hold" is the verb. It means you have been awarded the scholarship and you are the holder of the scholarship. "Concurrently" means "at the same time". Your sentence means, "The holder of this scholarship may accept and hold other scholarships at the same time." Some scholarships do not allow the scholars to hold other concurrent scholarships.
