I am confused by this site. I only want to contact native speakers of Spanish who are willing to help me practice the language. I speak English. I am not interested in paying for any tutor. Does this site provide native speakers that are interested in helping?

Here you have one. We can make a tandem by Skype, jazzint2012. 50% talking in spanish and 50% in english, or one day and another.

Just find people from Spanish countries and just ask if they wanna exchange languages rather than paying for a tutor. Also say it in your bio so people know what you're looking for. This site is more like if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours. You have to have something to give to the people who help you because I doubt if anyone will teach you for free

You can ask questions and write journal entries and have anyone, including native Spanish speakers answer and correct them. Sometimes, you can contact native speakers who also want to learn English and you can talk to them on Skype, etc. But this site does not "provide" free tutors.
