What does mean by "travel in literal time"? The text is"It takes you into the world that you have not the time to travel in literal time"

It sounds like the author is saying that the text takes you on an adventure so great and extensive, that you could not travel that much in real life.

I'd agree with Christine about the general idea of what the author is trying to say, with the emphasis on the word 'trying'. This sentence isn't very good English.
