If Isabel is the teacher: "A aula de step vai ser dada pela Isabela." And if Isabel is the learner: "A aula de step vai ser dada para Isabel."

A aula de step vai ser dada ( ) a Isabel? Pela, pois Isabel é uma mulher, é um nome feminino, se fosse: A aula de step vai ser dada ( ) o Manel, seria PELO. Pois é um nome masculino.

It depend on what you are trying to say. If Isabel is the teacher, you must use "A aula de step vai ser dada PELA Isabel" (without the article "A"). If she is the student (which seems to be the case), you must use "A aula de step vai ser dada PARA a Isabel". Considering that your phrase already has the article "A" in front of the word "Isabel", the word "PARA" fits perfect there, and we conclude that Isabel is a student.

"Pela" is the best answer. But you don't use "a" before "Isabel". In portuguese, we make the word "pela" by contraction of two words: "por" (by, in English) and "a".(the, in English). So, when you day "pela Isabel", you already is saying "by the Isabel".
