Could you please explain me the use of the words across and along? I am so confused because I listen them often but I can use them yet. You can explain me in ITA/SPAN if you prefer. Gracias

Just look at the root of the words - cross and long. If you go across something, you cross it: Sail across the Atlantic ocean Walk across the road to the opposite side Drive across the desert. If you go along something, you move parallel to something long. Walk along the riverbank. Run along the path. Stroll along the beach. Semplice, non è ?
