”る”と”ます”
Hi, I know this may sounds a little dummy
I am trying to figure it out the difference of a verb ending with "ru" Instead of "masu" (Taberu and Tabemasu for example)
Since they made me an exam (because i changed of japanese school) and.. for some reason they advance me too much... and well i am a little confused.. their methods are cool but they're pretty different!

"desu" is the formal ways to say, and "ru" is much more informal such as talking with friends. The basic meaning is same. XD

Como Shane dijo, la diferencia es "formal" o "informal" como "hablar de tú o usted" en tu lengua. Creo que te acostumbrarás a eso después de practicar un poquito. Te recomiendo que escribas una frase en las dos formas.

Por ejemplo: (formal --> informal)
Tomo un café. コーヒーをのみます。--> コーヒーをのむ。
Comí pan. パンをたべました。--> パンをたべた。
Voy al instituto.  がっこうへいきます。--> がっこうへいく。
Vi una película. えいがをみました。--> えいがをみた。
