One thing I encountered confusion who can help me explain one thing that I don't understand ? "rent" and "lease" I don't know the difference between them

They're the same in the verb form. In the noun form, "rent" means the money that you pay for a space (apartments or office buildings, etc.) A "lease" is the legal agreement that you sign before you start occupying the space.
