I have a question about Proverb in English. Hello everyone. I want to know a proverb that best describes the following situation: If you have a relative that you don´t get on well with it and you know it´s better he/she stays at his/her house and you stay at your home, that is, it´s better not to keep in touch very often. How could I say in English using a proverb? Thank you all :)

You can say... "We don't see eye to eye" That is the perfect idiom I think... And you can use it with any person, not necessarily a family member.

You can say: We don't get along or We don't really see eye to eye on anything. All these mean: it is hard for the two of you to agree on anything.
