Do these two sentences have the same meaning? "I too am committing myself to continue the fight for justice." It's difficult to grasp the meaning of "committing myself to continue~". I rewrote the sentence with "swear", which is what I'm used to. Can this sentence "I swear I'll continue the fight for justice." mean the same as the first sentence above?

It's more a case of 'devoting yourself' to something. If you are committed to something you are single-minded in your pursuit of that goal.
