"Be pulled into a thread" Nylon is just one of various industrially produced substances called polymers. Polymers can be pulled into a thread, which makes them well suited for use in textile manufacturing. What does "be pulled into a thread" mean? :D

It means that the polymer material can be formed into a long piece which can be used to make fabric. A thread is a fine cord or strand,such as cotton thread,wool thread and so on,used to make textiles or fabric.
