What's the difference between diet, nutrition and nourishment? Products from trees provide a source of______as well as ingredients for medicine. A)Diet B)Nutrition C)Nourishment I suppose the correct answer is B as I understand it as vitamins, minerals and other useful substances, but what is nourishment then?

A)Diet B)Nutrition C)Nourishment The answer is B) Nutrition. Diet is what you eat. If you normally eat only apples, then that is your diet. If you only eat candy and soda, then that is your diet. Nutrition means it provides a source of specific substances while nourishment is anything that provides energy/life/health. Drinking water is nourishing (the verb form of nourishment) but water does not necessarily have nutrition :) It could be C, but B makes more sense as eating a tree wouldn't be a very energy/life/health giving activity :)
