How can I use this expresion.. I want to know in what kind of situations can I use the expression: 'On my way' I read it in a book, the complete sentence is ' It's time to be on my way'. I understand the meaning, I only want to know if there is another possible situation I can use it besides of when I am leaving a place. Thanks in advance ( If someone would like to correct my question I also would be thankful)

"I'm on my way" can mean both "I'm leaving now" and "I'll be there soon." So if you're at work, at the end of the day, you can tell your coworker, "well, I'm on my way." And then you can call your wife and say, "well, I'm on my way." :-)
