Could I use the verb 'approach' as 'find a way'? I want to know whether it sound confusing: ' I want to approach solving the problems'='I want to find another ways to solve the problems'

Yes, however, the correct way to write this in your example would be: "I want to TAKE ON A DIFFERENT approach TO solving problems" I hope this helps

You can also say "I want to approach (solving) these problems differently."
