1. - OK 2. "I resigned from my job as a manager last week" ("just" doesn't seem right) 3. OK 4 and 5 "to throw up" means "to vomit". So it's the wrong verb but it made me smile! Other normal words for resign : quit, leave. There is at least one slang word I can think of too.
