같다 It Only Seems Like
It there another verb besides 같다 to describe something only seeming like something else? I have two examples below.
"It only seems like the math problem is hard (but, actually, it's really easy)."
방정식은 오직 당황시킨 양상만 어려운 것 같은데.
"It only seems like they are fighting (but actually, they are rehearsing for a play)."
그 두 사람은 오직 싸움 짓만 운동하는 것 같은데.
I tried my best to translate the Korean; hopefully you can understand my general intention with it.
I want to use one verb that means something like "it only seems like," if that verb exists. I want to be able to say:
"It only seems like the math problem is hard (but, actually, it's really easy)."
방정식은 어려운 것 ㅇ은데.
"It only seems like they are fighting (but actually, they are rehearsing for a play)."
그 두 사람은 싸운 것 ㅇ은데.
Is there a verb that is better suited for this situation than 같다?
