Is this sentence correct? I would be thankful if anyone can help me with the following sentence: "I think the content of the course would cohere my research interests." Is it correct?

No. "I think the content of the course would cohere WITH my research interests" is sort of correct, but it sounds very strange. Cohere is an uncommon word, and it's basically just a fancy way of saying "stick together". "I think the content of the course would align well with my research interests" is better.
