Is learning Russian and Polish at the same time a good idea? Hi! I already learn Russian since 3 years and I plan to learn Polish. I'd like to ask you if learning Russian and Polish simultaneously was possible.http://www.cerveauetpsycho.fr/ewb_pages/a/article-parler-plusieurs-langues-c-est-facile-21325.php

I would strongly recommend focusing on one Slavic language. You will reach the fluency level much faster.

Both Polish and Russian are difficult for non-slavic nations. You have to spend a lot of time on one of these languages. Therefore the answear depends on how much time you have to learn languages every day and what level of proficiency you are going to achieve. If you are going to be fluent in Russian and at the same time you are very busy person, then do not start learning Polish.

Hi Camille, You will find Polish quite easy to learn if you speak Russian. I am fluent in both and can swap either of them for conversations in French. Regards, Irina
