Thinking in another language! I want to know what some of you do to think in another language. Translating it inside my head is easy, but it gets confusing trying to do that when someone is speaking fast. I often try to think in Spanish when i'm by myself but somehow I subconsciously resort back to English. Any tips?

Keep on learning and practicing. Try to listen to music in Spanish, music is sticky, it stays in our head, then we are curious about what the lyric says, so we come to the lyric, and read it while we hear again the music, this will make you think in Spanish, at least during the time you are thinking. Also, according to your level, you can read something. Try have language partners, talk to them, and this will also fix always a little bit more of the language. It does not happen if you force it, but little but little practice will bring this. Of course, if you only learn grammar and grammar and grammar and don't apply it, it won't happen, but if you do practice properly, it will. I speak four languages fluently and some French too, in all of the fluent ones I think in the language already, before I open my mouth, but this came with the time. Out of all I've said, I strongly recommend music... really. Take care, Alejo.
