Differences between 'somewhere else' and 'elsewhere' Can anyone tell me what's the difference in meaning and use?

Except for maybe "elsewhere" sounding slightly more poetic, I can't think of a difference. They're the same to me.

"elsewhere" can be used to mean "concurrently". It's also a little more formal and literary than "somewhere else".
