The grammar in this sentence is awful, and the sentence itself is rather ambiguous. However, I think that "Alice" wants another character in the story to know that "Sarah Lamb" is very likable. Alice also wants this other character to know that she does not have a defeatist attitude, despite all that she has been through. Sarah Lamb is a Principal Dancer in The Royal Ballet, London. She plays Alice in the ballet version of Alice in Wonderland. It seems odd that "Alice" would talk about Sarah when Alice is the character that Sarah portrays. Can you provide us with more information about this excerpt?
