In this question... What is correct? If both are correct, which is more common/Spanish? ¿Qué es tu pregunta? or ¿Cuál es tu pregunta?

Second one. First one would be correct but in some very unusual context.

La pregunta correcta es -¿Cuál es tu pregunta? and It is the most common question.

The two are correct according to the context which= cual, what=que. See the difference below ¿CUAL es tu pregunta? ¿QUE duda tienes? ¿QUE van a preguntarme? ¿QUE preguntas vendran en el examen? ¿CUAL de estos dos? Not to be confused "cuál" with "cual" by the accent they are different
