Well, in Spanish we don't use "hallar" usually. "Buscar" is more normally. The correct form to me would be "buscarlo"

You could say: "Sí lo tengo, pero no sé donde está; tengo que buscarlo."

Hi! You could say: - "Tengo que buscarlo" Or you could put it altogether like: -"Sí, lo tengo, pero tengo que buscarlo porque no sé dónde está"
