Will French law change regarding foreign workers?
I'm interested in moving to France a long time from now (15 years or so). Right now it is hard for an American to get a job in France. Not only does the American have to have a permit to live, but the hiring company would have to prove that no other French person that has applied for the job could do it. The reason for this is high French unemployment. Factors like the French economy and ruling parties would decide any changes, and I do not know much about either of those. I know some companies have locations in France where I could get a job if I got transferred, but that seems like it would be harder to do than just finding a job in France that no other French person could do.
