grammar of two sentences
1. Product unit cost is the cost of manufacturing a single unit of a product. It is made up of the cost of goods manufactured costs of direct materials, direct labor, and overhead.
Question:
I don't understand the part of "costs of direct materials, direct labor, and overhead." in terms of grammar. I think that the first part ended at "manufactured" is already a completed sentence. What is the relationship of "costs of direct materials, direct labor, and overhead" and "the cost of goods manufactured"?
2.These three cost elements are accumulated as a batch of products is being produced. When the batch has been completed, the product unit cost is computed.
Question:
I don't understand the grammar of "is being produced". Does there omit a conjunction or something?
