How learning English from intermediate to advanced? Recently I sometimes feel that in the beginning of learning one language it's very simple like memorizing vocabularies, sentences and pronunciation, but in the intermediate level wondering how I can develop my English more (I know it's not only English but also other languages). Because I can estimate some words with vocabularies I've known already and I can't perceive very much whether my sentence is correct or not. So what I wanna say is what kind of way is more effective to learn English for developing from intermediate to advanced? What do you think?

In my opinion Listening and speaking. When you watch movies/serials, you know what's happening, listen to what they are saying. Watch the episode once and then re-watch it to listen. That's how you can catch your own mistakes.Speaking will bring your learning into practice. If you can find someone to check your writing, then that's a good idea too. It will help you to correct your Grammar. Reading, is good too, but re-read things to see how they are put together. While listening and reading you can focus on how other people are putting there thoughts/ideas and stuff into words, different ways to express same feelings, different ways to respond to same questions. In speaking and writing you can put your learning into practice. I hope that helps.

Pharase and verbs and idomatic expressions should be your focus. Try to speak with chunks (predone pieces of language) this way you will sound more natural ,To omoimasu!
