existing I have a question regardig the usage of the word existing. In an email I used it in this way: The 'the franchise company's name including many branches' company got involved in taxation fraud and they are practically aren't existing any more. Is this a mistake or is it an acceptable usage in this context?

To your specific question, write "they practically don't exist any more." The first part of your sentence has some problems in the way that it's written, but I'm not sure what you mean, so I can't fix it. Can you clarify more about "including many branches company".?
