Ma sei proprio sicura di voler vendere i libri dell'Universita`? d. Proprio adesso che era appena guarito, gli sono andati i ladri in casa. (Here /proprio/ has a meaning with a shade of regret) e. Non lo sapevi? Mi dispiace, ma e` proprio cosi` come ti ho detto. f. Si`, questo e` proprio il mio cane, perche` me lo chiede? g. Per favore, rinuncia un attimo al tuo amor proprio (/amor proprio/ is a consolidated expression) e cerca di capire il mio punto di vista. h. adesso ho proprio finito, non ho altre idee.

As well as the usage mentioned by Anna and Andrew, "proprio" can also be used to express "(his/her/its/their/one's) own" in sentences like this: Ognuno porti il proprio pranzo = Everyone bring their own lunch Si è tagliato la propria mano = He cut his own hand
