Hard out What does "hard out" means? why not just use "hard"? Thanks !

You've misunderstood the grammar: Lily sings, "it's hard" (out where?) "out here..." "Out here..." means "not at home, not in my comfort zone, out in the real world".

I've never heard of "hard out" and I'm from the U.S ..... Perhaps you mean "handout" like new pieces of paper teachers give to their students.
