I'm from Malaysia and I watched it on one of the national channels.

1. Yes, I watched the live telecast of the opening ceremony and loved it. 
2. I hope that this Olympics will go on smoothly and be the best ever. 
3. Hopefully, I can catch the gymnastics, equestrian, and diving events.

1. If it is shown on TV, why not? 
2. I don't really know about everyone else, but my family and I are.

i looked the Olympic Games opening ceremony on the TV ( al jazeera sport)  it was very attractive and the organization of this ceremony was magnificent ,i like to see all of the games especially martial arts, volley ball.  i will see it in tv.!Really I love china!!!

In Thailand we don't have English language coverage of the Olympics, so I will only be watching the sports I am really intersted in: boxing and martial arts. I hope there will be some great displays of 'Gong Fu' / Wushu too. By the way, how easy is it to learn Mandarin? Everyone says it's very hard. I think this will become the international language in the future instead of English!
