How can I translate the sentence "......他倒来劲了."? The complete sentence was "本来是他不对, 我们没说什么. 他倒来劲了.". My professor explained that the meaning is something like "it was his fault, he was wrong and we haven't said anything. He doesn't think he's wrong" but how can I exactly translate the last part? What's the meaning of 来劲 here? My book says the general meaning for 来劲 is "to provoke, to tease, enthusiastic, thrilling, exciting" so I don't get it. Thank you!
