standing in my (our ) name? anyone explain its meaning ? many thanks standing in my (our) name in the Register of the company name to hold unto the said Transferee his Executors, Administrators or Assigns, subject to the several conditions (if any) upon which I/(we) hold the same all the time of execution hereof. this is from a sell and bought note, so legal, anyone explain them in plain English?

To do something "in someone's name" means to do something in his stead, or something he told you to do and which he would do himself.
