like clockwise - exists?
Hi!
At BBC learning English I run into a phrase "to do sth like clockwise" = regularly.
I go to the gym like clockwise.
However, I didn't manage to find it anywhere in the dictionaries.
Does it really exist?
Thanks!
Yes! "To do something like clockwork" means that you do it regularly and on time! So if you go to the gym like clockwork, then you go every day at the same time.
