Are there any phrasal verbs with meaning "lose"? Or there is nothing like it?

I suggest that you write your sentence including the word "lose" and then we can give you some alternatives. It's not a helpful exercise to do this without context.

"Not to be able to hold on to" I think this is what you're looking for, but as Michael Chambers said - "lose" can have different meanings in different contexts, so give us some! :)
