I would like Could someone please tell me what is the difference between mi piace and vorrie. Per esempio.... I would like to eat at that restaurant. Vorrie mangiare a quello ristorante or mi piace mangiare a quello ristorante. And....... I would like to do that one day. How would that be translated? Vorrei or Mi piace. Grazie tanto

You'd use "vorrei" there. "Mi piace" isn't "I would like", but "I like". Note, though, that there's also "mi piacerebbe" (the conditional form). That corresponds to English "I'd like to" as well, but in the meaning "I'd enjoy to" rather than "I'd want to".

I like to eat at that restaurant = Mi piace mangiare a quel ristorante I would like to eat at that restaurant = Mi piacerebbe /vorrei mangiare a quel ristorante 'I would like to do that one day' = Vorrei... If you like it (se ti piace) it means you had already done it Grazie tantE ;)
