Google translate is great if you want understand some German webpage and translate it into English, but it's really bad at producing proper German sentences. So don't use it this way.

Is Frankfurt similar to Berlin? = Ist es in Frankfurt so ähnlich wie in Berlin? Lebt man in Frankfurt ähnlich wie in Berlin?
How do Frankfurt and Berlin compare? = (difficult to translate directly) Kann man Frankfurt und Berlin vergleichen? Wie unterscheidet sich das Leben in Frankfurt und Berlin?
How often to you visit your hometown = Wie oft besuchen Sie Ihre Heimatstadt?
Do you miss your hometown? = Vermissen Sie Ihre Heimatstadt?
What do you miss the most (about your hometown)? = Was vermissen Sie am meisten an (!) Ihrer (!) Heimatstadt?
What do you recommend I see (in Berlin)? = Was sollte ich mir in Berlin ansehen?
All sentences use the polite form of address (Sie/Ihr). Especially in Berlin, when you meet people in a pub etc., it can happen that they switch relatively quickly to the familiar address (du).
