Yasmine: "Though" shows an exception to something previously written or spoken. Example: "I enjoyed the meal in the restaurant, though their water did have a slightly unpleasant taste." "I enjoyed watching the soccer game, though I never expected that such violence would enter into such a game of finesse." "I like you very much, though I am not prepared to say that I love you." "Rain may not be expected today, though I will take my umbrella, just in case it does." "Italki is a good place to find a language partner, though it took me many weeks of searching to find one."
