I would suggest 'His vital functions were missing on arrival at hospital' or 'His vital functions were absent . . . '

His vital functions were nil when he was brought to hospital. In other words, he was DOA. (Dead On Arrival)

You could say: His vital organs had already collapsed upon arrival at the hospital. His body was non-responsive when he was brought to the hospital for medical attention.
