could it be considered presumptuous? Hi. My name is Hana Gim and I'll be working with you starting today. I'll appreciate your guidance. I'll bring my best efforts to work. I'm looking forward to your support. If I introduced myself like this on the first day at my workplace, could it be considered presumptuous because of the phrase "I'm looking forward to your support"? If so, then what is the reason? and how do people generally say in that situation? Please help me!! Thanks!^ ^

Your introduction is very formal and not something that we would usually do in England or, I suspect, any English-speaking country. It's possible that it would be appropriate if a new CEO or senior manager started a new job and called a formal meeting of the whole company or team in order to introduce him- or herself. "I'd appreciate your guidance." "I know I won't be able to succeed without your support" Perhaps you could tell us more about the context - will you be a manager and you want to introduce yourself to the staff you will manage? Which country will you work in?
