What's was the title of that book by Афанасьев which had all the Russian folk tales? I have fond memories of some Russian folk tales that I used to read when I was a kid. The author was Александр Афанасьев, I think. I'd love to find the original, unabridged (i.e. full) book in Russian. Do you know the title (Cyrillic) of that book, by any chance?

In fact, Afanasjev wrote two books of tales for children: «Русские детские сказки» and «Русские заветные сказки». You can find both books in ru.wikisource.org, as it was mentioned by Yana previously. And if you are interesting in russian tales and folk in general, I'd recomend you to read also the tales of Pavel Bazhov: http://hobbitaniya.ru/bajov/bajov.php - they are really beautiful!

Если тянет к сказкам могу порекомендовать почитать также А.С. Пушкина "Руслан и Людмила", например. Yevgeniy, http://www.italki.com/teacher/1937576
