In fact, Afanasjev wrote two books of tales for children: «Русские детские сказки» and «Русские заветные сказки». You can find both books in ru.wikisource.org, as it was mentioned by Yana previously.
And if you are interesting in russian tales and folk in general, I'd recomend you to read also the tales of Pavel Bazhov: http://hobbitaniya.ru/bajov/bajov.php - they are really beautiful!
