좋아 vs 추워 I have recordings of the below, but I can't tell the difference between 'good' and 'cold' - it just sounds the same! 네, 좋아요. 오늘 추워요. Do they actually sound different or do you use context to differentiate? Thanks!

They sound different. I guess the difference between ㅈ & ㅊ is something you just have to get used to... 좋아요's 좋 is definitely softer than 추워요's 추. Also they use different "vowels" (ㅗ vs. ㅜ).

They sound completely different. 좋아요 [Jo Ah Yo] 추워요 [Chu Wo Yo] I see a lot of foreigners get confused with the sound J and Ch.
