How do I say, "I would like to be a teacher, because I have had many good teachers (in the past)" The "in the past" can be left out if necessary or too complicated. I don't want to a complex answer because it's for a school thing and I don't want to look like I cheated (but it's not REALLY cheating, right?) So far, I was thinking it would be along the lines of something like, "Ich möchte gern Lehrer werden, weil ich viele gute Lehrer in der Vergangenheit gehabt habe." But to be honest I'm really not sure at all. I understand past tense, but this is something we haven't covered before. Please help soon! I need it by tomorrow. THANK YOU!

Man kann einfach sagen:" Ich möchte gern Lehrer werden, weil ich viele gute Lehrer in der Vergangenheit HATTE".
