Books on Latinamerican Spanish? Do you know any good self-study books especially on south american Spanish? Thanks in advance :-)

Well, even though I guess I understand your question, it would not be easy to include all the American countries whose native language is Spanish in the same category. It will be hard to maintain that the Spanish from Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela or Mexico is the same... But definitely I would recommend some Larousse books. I know that they are often considered cheap no-pro book, but as far as U know they are the only ones that try to offer that 'continental vision' you are looking for. Best of luck!
