Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner What do japanese people typically eat for meals. If you wouldn't mind listing 2-3 of each breakfast, lunch, and dinner in English and Japanese I wouldn't mind. Also how would I say, breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Japanese? (The common ways)

breakfast = 朝食[ちょうしょく] / 朝ご飯[あさごはん] lunch = 昼食[ちゅうしょく] / (お)昼ご飯[ひるごはん] / ランチ dinner = 夕食[ゆうしょく] / 夜ご飯[よるごはん] / 晩ご飯[ばんごはん] / ディナー *Now many English words are used with katakana. I hope this helps you.

Asagohan = asa + gohan (morning + rice) = breakfast Hirugohan = hiru + gohan (noon + rice) = lunch Bangohan = ban + gohan (evening + rice) = dinner Examples: Asagohan hayaku tabemasu. - I eat breakfast early. Hirugohan to tomodachi - Lunch with friends Wain bangohan ni nomimasu. - I drink wine at dinner.
