Definitely not. You should be able to watch movies from the 50s and not notice any strange language at all. Before that people tended to use a Transatlantic accent (an accent tthat used to be a standard in media; it sounded British to Americans and American to British people) which can sound a little strange to a modern ear, but you should have no problem understanding any film in English made since, well, the invention of film.
The only significant differences you're likely to notice are words that refer to technology that doesn't exist anymore or technology that has since been created. This won't be an issue if you're watching a film from the 90s.
I'm curious why you might think that English might have changed in such a short time. Has Russian experienced a large change recently?
