For this one, there's no litteral translation, but an equivalent would be :
-> Ne pas regarder les choses en face
Can be understood as "you don't face the thing", or "you don't see the thing just in front of you"
-> Se voiler la face (litteraly 'to put a veil on your head'), means you don't want to face facts.
