if you want to learn Italian the best advice I can give you is to have a grammar reference (and someone who can explain you the trickiest topics) and start practicing: writing, reading, speaking and listening. I advice you not to leave any of these skills behind, but to practice a bit of them every day, or one per day a bit deeper.
Listen to music and read the lyrics, read children books and find a mother tongue teacher who can help you. And in your everyday life you can use stickers to improve vocabulary or mind maps. I hope this helps and if you have any question feel free to ask me.
