Tenemos 止める(とめる) y 止まる (とまる), 止める(やめる) y 止む(やむ). Tenemos los verbos tensitinvos e intransitivos, en español son como "parar y pararse". 止める(とめる): parar / detener algo (parar los carros, las machinas), principalmente los sujetos son seres humanos. También se usa para "interrumpir (de interrumpir el tráfico)", "cerrar / cortar de (el gas / agua / algún servicio)". Paro el coche aquí. (私はここで車を止める。) 止まる(とまる): pararse / detenerse (por sí mismo) Se para en carro. (車が止まる。) 止める(やめる): dejar, poner/dar fin a algo, interrumpir, suspender Dejo de estudiar.
