Irish: Are these "I don't know..." sentences using the verb tóg (to take) correct? Níl a fhios agam... I don't know... 1. cé a thóg an t-úrscéal. = who took the novel. 2a. cad é a thóg sé. 2b. céard a thóg sé. = what he took. 3. cén uair ar thóg sé an t-úrscéal. = when he took the novel. 4. cén áit ar thóg sé an t-úrscéal. = where he took the novel. 5a. cad chuige ar thóg sé an t-úrscéal. 5b. cén fáth ar thóg sé an t-úrscéal. = why he took the novel. 6a. cad é mar a thóg sé an t-úrscéal. 6b. conas a thóg sé an t-úrscéal. = how he took the novel. 7. cé mhéad úrscéalta a thóg sé. = how many novels he took. 8. cén cineál/cén sórt úrscéalta a thóg sé. = what kind of novels he took. 9. cé dó ar thóg sé an t-úrscéal. = who he took the novel for. 10. ar mhaith leis an t-úrscéal a thógáil. = whether he wanted to take the novel. 11a. cé a dúirt sé a thóg an t-úrscéal. 11b. cé a thóg an t-úrscéal dar leis. = who he said took the novel.

7. cé mhéad úrscéal : 'cé mhéad' is always followed by the singular. The rest are fine.
