Jenny
How to say "Hello. Nice to meet you I'm Jenny." in gaelic? Sorry if that's not a simple translation. Thank you. ;)

We would probably say: 'Dia Dhuit, conas atá tú? Is Mise Jenny!' Phonerically, something like this: Deeya Gwith, kunnas a taw too? Iss Misha Jenny Translates as: 'God be with you, how are you? I am Jenny'. It's fairly literal that one. You could say : 'Tá athas orm buileadh leat' to say 'it's nice to meet you' but to my memory, it's not a common greeting. Phonetically, that would sound like 'Taw aw-has urum bool'eh lat' and the literal translation is more like 'I have pleasure meeting you'

"Dia duit/Haló, is mise Jenny. Cad é mar atá tú?" [Hello, I'm Jenny. How are you?] As Neil mentioned, "Nice to meet you" isn't an expression that's used so much in Irish. Nowadays you may hear people saying things like "Tá áthas orm bualadh leat" or "Tá sé deas bualadh leat" ("bualadh" is the correct spelling of the word), but it's just a translation from the English. It's much more usual to ask how the other person is, and this varies a lot according to dialect, in the north we say "Cad é mar atá tú?".
